Synamatix develops bioinformatics solutions incorporating the SynaBASE™ database platform. Following several years of R&D, the company commenced commercialisation in mid-2004.

Synamatix has since grown and enhanced its products and technologies, which has helped place them in many major genomics research facilities including the world renowned Washington University Genome Sequencing Center and Harvard University.

SynaBASE™ and its related applications are used in many other genomics research centres worldwide in areas such personalised medicine, multi-genome comparative genomics, proteomics and microarray chip design among others.
